My first car

After having my first ride in one of these cars 7 months ago and followed by numerous occasions when I would try to glue my bum to one of these car seats, Daddy finally bought me my very own police car that comes with a 5 sound siren! I LOVE IT! We can rid our building security guards now because Miles will catch the thieves and robbers! Watch out, here comes Cop Miles!

So long, farewell, it's time to say goodbye

The 8 days of fun with my friends Nik Nik and Ronny has come to an end. They returned to Vancouver today. I don't know when I will see them again but for sure, I think I will be to communicate with them and tell them how much I love them! Have a safe trip!

Saying "mah mah, poh poh, yeh yeh"

I've been hearing these names so many times ever since I was born; so, just to please them, I am saying them all in one day. However, I still cannot say "gung gung"! I hope he does not feel left out, but it really is a challenge for me...give me a few more weeks!

1st time ever at Disney

My friends, Nicky and Ronny, are here visiting me from Vancouver this week. We all went out to Disney. It was sunny and hot. I wasn't too keen on Mickey (isn't he just the most scary thing??) but I enjoyed all the rides--Winnie the Pooh, It's a Small World, Dumbo and Merry Go Round. I most enjoyed climbing on all the railings. We were all pooped even though we were there for only 5 hours.

Cookie baking

For our playgroup today, my 4 playmates and I made cookies. Impatient me, I thought we were actually eating the dough--it did not taste very good!
While the cookies were in the oven, my friend Alex came up to me to squish my two cheeks together--his mommy said that he cannot contain his great love for me...he even stole a kiss on the lips from me!

The first day of Olympics 2008

It's the first day of the Olympics and who are we kidding, I don't know what the hype is all about. I'm too young to know and besides, I never get to watch TV. So my day is the same as any other day. I fed my fish (they have become mine now because I'm the only one who remembers feeding them!), and the treat was having my friend Connor stay over for dinner 3 nights in a row because he just got a baby sister, Haven. Daddy entertains all of us by playing nursery rhymes on the big cello.

How I feed myself

Feeding myself is not an easy thing but with my doggy, Bailey's help, the chore has been made easier. OK, so I take the indirect route from plate to mouth but I'm results oriented and not process-oriented! And I'm sure Bailey doesn't mind since I've left him a few bits of rice too.

Now that I have been walking steadily for awhile, and that my mommy has gotten a potty for me, she will begin training me to go on my own starting tomorrow! I wonder how long it will take?

Zoo

It was a beautiful Sunday and we decided to drop by the zoo in the morning before the day got too hot. I saw ducks, flamingos, cranes, orangatans, and all sorts of other animals. Sadly, they are all in cages and cannot run free like me. Look at how happy I am...it was downhill so I had a small tumble along with a small scrape on my face...it must be the 5th one this week...

The little drummer boys

Look how happy and excited Miles' friend Ethan is with the keyboard. Knobs, buttons, keys on the keyboard, switches--the fun was endless. Just watching these kids laughing so freely and genuinely gives us so much joy.
